The Everglades National Park is as synonymous to the southwest of Florida as Disney World is to Orlando, and attracts a huge number of visitors every year. It’s a wild and natural adventure playground, where many of the inhabitants live on four legs and sport teeth as sharp as razors. The best way to enjoy this unique environment is to come and join a naturalist-led tour run by Everglades Day Safari. There are two trips available, and on either one, you could find yourself enjoying nature walks, wildlife drives, airboat trips and river cruises, not to mention a fantastic lunch while learning about the matchless landscape and native creatures that live here.

A naturalist leads the 60-minute ride from the historic Smallwood’s Store where you’ll learn about the importance of the swamps while you try to spot shy manatees, alligators and bottle-nosed dolphins in the deeper water.
