Estero Island Parasail on Fort Myers Beach

If you love the feel of the wind in your hair and the thrilling sensation of viewing the world from high above, you’ll love Estero Island Parasail. This established company has several locations on Fort Myers Beach, each one offering unforgettable views as you fly high above the glittering waves and barrier islands of this Southwest Florida Gulf coast paradise.

You’ll find Estero Island Parasail dotted along the beach of 7-mile Estero Island at Best Western Beach Resort by The Pier, near the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina, at DiamondHead Beach Resort, and at the Sandpiper Gulf Resort. They also have a boat pick-up point closer to Lover’s Key State Park at Mid Island Water Sports near the Wyndham Garden resort.

What’s it Like to Parasail?

Estero Island Parasail takes riders by dingy from the beach to the speedboat where your parasailing adventure starts. You and your flying partners will be fitted with a parasail harness by friendly and professional staff. Sit down on the deck and a hydraulic winch will gently lift you up into the air. Before you have time to be nervous, you’ll be gazing down at the sandy beach, tiny hotels and miniature sunbathers far below. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the panoramic views and the experience of flying high beneath the colorful parachute canopy.

When it’s time to descend, the boat slows and you are gently lowered closer and closer to the deck. The crew will catch you as you reach the boat and you put your feet down for a gentle touch-down on the deck. You’re sure to be exhilarated and ready to do it all over again!

If you want to try something new, there’s nothing quite like sunset parasailing. As the sun drops down towards the horizon, the colorful sky provides the perfect backdrop for your scenic flight, and the photos are amazing!
