Interact with Exotic Animals

The sanctuary offers a variety of experiences for visitors, including daily live animal demos and feedings. During these events, visitors can learn about the animals’ behaviors, habitats, and diets, and get an up-close look at some of the sanctuary’s most beloved residents.

Visitors can also learn about the challenges facing these animals in the wild, including habitat loss, poaching, and illegal trade in exotic animals. Be sure to also visit the petting zoo for an up close experience!

Big Cat Habitat also puts on special events such as yoga with the animals (lemur or fox yoga, anyone?) and brunch with big cats. Check out their website or Facebook page for a list of their upcoming events.

Conservation at Big Cat Habitat

In addition to providing a home for exotic animals, Big Cat Habitat also works to promote conservation and education. The sanctuary offers educational programs for schools, community groups, and individuals, teaching about the importance of wildlife conservation and the role of zoos and sanctuaries in protecting endangered species. The sanctuary also supports conservation efforts around the world, providing funding and resources to organizations working to protect endangered animals and their habitats.
