Kayakers launch from the Turtle Beach Public Boat Ramp which has ample and convenient free parking. Your paddle will begin through the Blind Pass Lagoon to the Jim Neville Marine Preserve to see some of Florida’s most pristine nature. Next, you’ll paddle through mangroves and flat water in Little Sarasota Bay before stopping at secluded Midnight Pass Beach. Once at the beach, visitors can swim in the beautiful clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico, search for shells in the white sand, or relax on the beach.

During your kayak tour you may even have the opportunity to see manatees, dolphins, osprey, herons, and many other species that call Sarasota, Florida home.

Tours depart at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and have a four-person minimum.

If you’d like to rent a kayak while you are visiting the area, Ride & Paddle offers both single and double kayak rentals. Spend as little as 3 hours or up to one week with each rental kayak.

All rental equipment can be delivered to your location or picked up from locations on the Gulf of Mexico or Little Sarasota Bay. Delivery is free for locations on Siesta Key, fees range for delivery to other areas. Overnight kayak rentals will only be charged the four-hour rental fee!
