Bird Naturalists of Friends of Myakka River at Myakka River State Park’s Birdwalk. From November through mid-April, these birding volunteers share their spotting scopes, field guides, photo books, and expertise with visitors who flock to the Park’s Birdwalk. Most days from at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call the ranger station prior to your visit to confirm a Naturalist is on duty the day you plan to visit.
