Sanibel Island has miles of bicycle paths and it’s a great way to see and experience the island on your Florida vacation. Sanibel Island Bike Rentals and Trails

No need to worry if you don’t have your own bike. Stop by the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber and pick up a bike trail map and plan your route. Head to one of Sanibel Island’s local bike shops for bike & helmet rentals for the entire family. You can ride from the lighthouse and fishing pier through the J.N. “Ding” Darling Wildlife Refuge, and across Blind Pass Bridge onto Captiva Island. Captiva has no bike paths but welcomes cyclists.

Please take special note that bikes are not permitted on Sanibel and Captiva Island’s beaches.
