Each HydroCats guided, 2-hour sightseeing tour is a unique experience that offers an opportunity to learn about the area and see native birds, dolphins, and other wildlife. 

The tour boat includes a cooler with bottled water and fruit. Guests can bring snacks and other beverages if they wish. 

At HydroCats, your safety and comfort are their top priorities. Their boats are not only safe and smooth riding but also fun and easy to operate, even for those with little or no boating experience! Each driver will receive a brief explanation on how to drive the boats prior to embarking on the tour. 

The boats have a convertible Bimini top for shade and a small storage compartment. HydroCats also offers every guest a dry storage bag for their items.

Tours are available in English and Spanish.

Driver must be at least 18 years old w/valid driver’s license. Passengers must be at least 5 years old.

Each seat can only hold a max of 250 lbs. each. 

Reservations are required.

HydroCats boat tours depart from the Centennial Park Boat ramp at 1059 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.

PLEASE NOTE – Florida Law requires anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 who will be driving or renting a boat, JetSki or WaveRunner (or any motorized vessel of 10 hp or more) to have a valid photo ID and a Boating Safety Education ID Card.

The boater education card is proof that you have successfully completed a boating safety course; it is not the same as a boating license. 

Those who already have a Safe Boater card from their state are good to go provided it states “NASBLA approved” on the card.
